PRONAL has been making standard and customized flexible technological products from elastomer and/or plastomer-coated fabrics since 1961. The PRONAL development strategy is based upon 3 key points:
• product diversification around a concept of flexibility,
• improved performance of materials and techniques via a policy of continuous innovation,
• proven quality at all levels achieved by listening to clients.


PRONAL products are specifically designed to provide a flexible solution whilst ensuring a very high level of resistance.

The range of materials used by PRONAL allows it to fulfil a wide range of high-level quality requirements:

• Chemical resistance : acids, bases, hydrocarbons, additives, oils …
• Mechanical resistance : abrasion, perforation, tearing, crash (impact) …
• Environmental resistance : UV, ozone, fire (type I2F3), cold, high temperatures, marine environment …
• Chemical and environmental inertia : compatibility with foodstuffs (FDA), drinking water (ACS, KTW), use in nuclear power stations (PMUC) …

Using powerful research and development tools (specialized design office, 2D software, 3D CATIA...) and test resources (test laboratories, test benches...) PRONAL, in partnership with its clients, designs high added value products.

During manufacture, PRONAL selects materials based on the specific technical characteristics of the products requested by its clients.
Materials are used for example in the form of sheets or fabrics coated on a Polyamide, Polyester, Aramide (Kevlar) base … Products may contain a protective layer in the form of a barrier film (PVF), Teflon sheet (PTFE) or varnish.
Specific means of production such as high temperature vacuum vulcanisation are used to manufacture elastomer and/or composite products. Several large autoclaves are involved in the manufacture of products by hot vulcanisation. Our factories are equipped with the tools needed to assemble thermoplastics and automatic materials cutting systems.
