But there&#8217;s another important point we sometimes forget to mention &#8230; The technical fabrics used to manufacture our products! The raw material used to manufacture all flexible items and the different testing procedures (chemical compatibility&#8230;) are crucial steps too. <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">That&#8217;s why we would like to shine a light on our laboratory<\/span>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>The Pronal laboratory<\/h3>\n<p>First of all, all our fabric is stored (raw) in special rooms adapted to their own specificities (refrigerated rooms for example). This means we store them according to their specificities (UV \/ high or low temperature). This process is the best way to avoid the aging of the fabric and to preserve them. From Day 1, Pronal laboratory has always taken care of the different materials used in the manufacturing process with the aim of offering each customer<span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"> the best quality<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">compatibility they may be looking for and waiting for<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Pronal laboratory has an air-conditioned room in which a large number of tests can be done (<span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">with strict norms<\/span>). These tests are divided into 4 groups:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>expiry tests fabrics,<\/li>\n<li>tests on new fabrics entrance,<\/li>\n<li>compatibility tests fabrics,<\/li>\n<li>tailor-made tests to answer the client&#8217;s specific needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>The Expiry tests and new materials entrance tests<\/h3>\n<p>All materials that arrive at Pronal need to undergo an entrance test. During this step, we record<span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"> all mechanical characteristics<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">durability<\/span> in order to track the materials during their life-span. As for <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">coating fabrics<\/span>, the following tests are done:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>endurance and lengthening of the material <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">(norm NF EN ISO 1421),<\/span><\/li>\n<li>assembly <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">(norm NF EN ISO 1421),<\/span><\/li>\n<li>grammage, thickness, and adhesion <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">(norm NF EN ISO 36)<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With regards to <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">the elastomer foils<\/span>, we test:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>endurance and lengthening of the material <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">(norm NF EN ISO 37)<\/span>,<\/li>\n<li>hardness Shore <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">(norm NF EN ISO 7619-1)<\/span> norm to control the hardness of the elastomer,<\/li>\n<li>grammage and thickness control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All materials (raw) will <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">be tested<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">controlled during their entire life-span<\/span>. This way we&#8217;re able to warranty <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">the best fabrics<\/span>\/<span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">products<\/span> through all of our production.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>All compatibility tests and tailor-made tests answer the customer&#8217;s needs.<\/h3>\n<p>Our products can be used for our customer&#8217;s specific requirements. For example, to store corrosives products (acid) or plug pipes containing chemical products (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product\/inflatable-pipe-plugs\/opap-anti-pollution-stoppers\/\">please look at the OPAP article<\/a>). All these uses severely test our fabrics\/products. For this reason, our laboratory proceeds with specific tests (<span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">on demand<\/span>) in accordance with technical specifications.<\/p>\n<p>The customer must first send their <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">Safety Data Sheet (SDS)<\/span>. It is then studied in order to determine <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">the associated PPE<\/span> and to suggest <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">a test protocol<\/span> to the client. Secondly, the customer sends us <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">the chemical<\/span>. It is thus tested in contact with material samples that can answer the client&#8217;s needs. During the course of this test, the samples are put into contact with the chemistry\/chemistries for a duration and temperature determined by the protocol. The protocol is always carried out in <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">conditions superior to the end use of the client (safety factor)<\/span>. Once the tests are completed, the client receives our report. The laboratory temporarily stores the chemicals <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">until collection by an approved recycling organization<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, other types of tailor-made tests are possible, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>permeability tests for liquid products,<\/li>\n<li>mechanical compression, tearing, perforation, etc. tests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The laboratory also produces <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">mini Pronal products<\/span> to carry out small-scale tests for real use.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;top-to-bottom&#8221;]To conclude, thanks to our laboratory, our products are <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">100 compatible<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">adapted to your needs<\/span>.
