Our inflatable trench shield Smartshore\u00ae<\/b> ensures worker safety during\u00a0trenching or excavation works. It is a key tool to protect them from crumbling. The\u00a0<\/span>Article R4534-24 of the French Labour Code<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0requires that vertical-walled trenches that are more than 1.30m deep involving any risk of collapse and burial,\u00a0<\/span>be shored or braced<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Smartshore\u00ae<\/b> trench shield system lets your workers\u00a0<\/span>quickly and easily shore-up their working area<\/b>. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These systems use two inflatable cushions that once inflated are held in place by braces. These cushions can reinforce trench walls up to 2m deep. Any risk of collapse and burial is eliminated! For trenches less than 1.30m deep, the terrain density and ground consistency need to be taken into account. This is why\u00a0<\/span>Smartshore\u00ae cushions can be used horizontally<\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in these situations.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Inflatable trench shield systems can be\u00a0<\/span>folded up and reused<\/b><\/span>.<\/span> It takes\u00a0<\/span>20 minutes to install<\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>the system and\u00a0<\/span>no lifting equipment is required<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For operations on buried networks, the product can be accompanied by inflatable pipe plugs.<\/a><\/p>\n
