{"id":8293,"date":"2019-05-03T11:00:39","date_gmt":"2019-05-03T09:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/produit\/uncategorized\/obturateurs-test-de-clapets\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T17:04:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T16:04:09","slug":"stoppers-for-testing-valves","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/produit\/inflatable-pipe-plugs\/nuclear\/stoppers-for-testing-valves\/","title":{"rendered":"Pneumatic stopper for testing &#8211; forged valves"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pronal has developed a range of \u201ctailor-made\u201d<\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b> pneumatic stoppers for testing the tightness of forged valves on the primary circuits of <\/b><a style=\"color: #242b57;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/areas\/nuclear\/\"><b>nuclear power plants<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This range of stoppers has been designed to test <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>the tightness of the swing mechanism on the sealing surfaces.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>inflatable stoppers for testing moulded valves,<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> these pneumatic stoppers for testing \u201cforged\u201d valves are <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>not inflatable.<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> They are equipped with a system of plates covered with <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><a style=\"color: #242b57;\" href=\"https:\/\/filab.fr\/en\/\"><b>PMUC<\/b><\/a> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rubber and an inter-seal for checking the tightness of the stopper. This system is mounted on a mechanical fork which is itself equipped with a stop <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>to facilitate installation and removal.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>It is these stoppers which equip the METEOR\u00ae test bench.<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This test bench is used to measure the tightness of valves at a constant pressure.
