The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.french-nuclear-safety.fr\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASN<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has determined the frequency that the tightness of these swing valves must be tested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is why Pronal has developed a range of \u201ctailor-made\u201d <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>inflatable stoppers for testing moulded valves <\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on the primary circuits<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result, this range of stoppers is used to test <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>the tightness of the swing mechanism on the sealing surfaces.<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> As an example, the inflatable stoppers for testing moulded valves are installed on <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>the RIS \/ RCP circuit.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In contrast to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product\/inflatable-pipe-plugs\/stoppers-for-testing-valves\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pneumatic stopper for testing &#8211; forged valves<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the stoppers for testing \u201cmoulded\u201d valves are inflatable. They are equipped with a system of inflatable seals composed of layers of PMUC rubber and an inter-seal for verifying the tightness of the stopper. This system is equipped with a mechanical stop which ensures <\/span><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>that the stopper is held in place in the main body of the valve.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #242b57;\"><b>It is these stoppers which equip the METEOR\u00ae test bench<\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This test bench is used to measure the tightness of valves at a constant pressure.
