Radiation protection is one of the primary concerns in a <\/span>nuclear power plant. <\/b><\/a>Progress is being made on a yearly basis in terms of the doses that may be received. Notably thanks to the processes that enable this dose to be reduced at the source.<\/span><\/p>\n

For this very reason, Pronal has designed a range of biological protection stoppers that effectively creates <\/span>a protective barrier for workers.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

These flexible barriers are then filled with water. When filled to<\/span> a thickness of 200mm, the stoppers<\/b><\/span> are as equally effective as a <\/span>50mm<\/b><\/span> lead cushion. The ease with which these biological barriers can be installed and removed makes them a more practical choice than working with lead cushioning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The dimensions and forms of these biological barriers can be defined based on the client\u2019s specifications. Indeed, thanks to our engineering office, we can make <\/span>tailor made products.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
