And for good reason, there are very few effective ways to properly and quickly seal manhole covers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indeed, to achieve this application, construction companies must use concrete shuttering. This formwork will allow the concrete to flow all around the manhole, without impacting the inspection chamber. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unfortunately, it&#8217;s very complicated to make a cylindrical manhole shuttering!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traditional formwork (wooden formwork, concrete formwork or engineered formwork) is not working in this situation. Companies therefore use artisanal formwork:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>hardboard tapes, <\/b>which are not easy to process;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>cylindrical metal forms, <\/b>which are very heavy;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">or<b> loose materials, <\/b>such as mortar and bricks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jonathan Bracco, working at TRBA in the public works sector, noted this recurring problem. He is looking to achieve light formwork, <strong>easy to install, faster, resistant, and reusable<\/strong>. This new solution would make it possible, during sealing, to lessen the physical aspect and to put the workers in safety.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;11957&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Pneumatic manhole shuttering<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jonathan turned to Pronal for <strong>his inflatable shuttering<\/strong>. He was familiar with our pneumatic products, and in particular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product-category\/inflatable-pipe-plugs\/\">our pipe plugs<\/a>, indeed there are similar to this solution. Pronal has produced a shutter balloon used as formwork. This inflatable formwork consists of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">1 handling handle,<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">an air exhaust plug,<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">a pressure relief valve,<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">an inflation coupler,<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">a reinforced part for contact with concrete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sealing balloon can be of standard dimensions for existing manholes, <strong>ranging from 600 to 700 mm in diameter<\/strong>. But it can also be<strong> tailor-made<\/strong>; for each dimension its inflatable formwork.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When inflated with air, the solution will <strong>fit the walls of the manhole<\/strong>. Then placed, it will be used as <strong>a concrete slab reservation system<\/strong>. Indeed, by its perfect seal, no residue comes to soil in the inspection chamber. <strong>The workers are therefore no longer obliged to descend into it in order to clean it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also, during the sealing of the inspection manhole, <strong>there is no risk of falling<\/strong>. Indeed the workers can work safely.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][\/vc_tta_tour][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><b>Conclusion of the application with this tool<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Until today, TRBA company <strong>regularly uses this solution and is very satisfied<\/strong>.
