This work is part of the project to create the first offshore LNG (natural gas) export terminal in this geographical area.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>1000 Mauritanians and Senegalese<\/strong> from 180 companies of both nationalities are working on this site. They will remain there for more than 3 years until the completion of the platform. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These workers work:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on dry land, for the creation of concrete caissons for the breakwater,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or on ships, to carry out initial work at sea.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wherever they are, everyone must <strong>have access to drinking water<\/strong> to continue working in the best conditions. This is why the construction company wanted <strong>to install a water purification plant<\/strong> on the site life base. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This drinking water station will have to be connected to the city&#8217;s water network, whose water can&#8217;t be consumed. It will also consist of <strong>a treated water storage system <\/strong>and<strong> a booster<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will allow the distribution of drinking water on the one hand to the ships, and on the other hand, to the workers on site.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #00a7e1;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The turnkey Pronal water purification plant<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The construction company turned to Pronal for the supply of a fully equipped drinking water station. We have provided:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>a mobile water purification unit &#8211; ultrafiltration<\/strong> composed of:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">a buffer tank;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">various pumps;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">a chlorinated water tank;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">inlets and outlets for waste and treated water<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">circuit breakers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">pressure gauges<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">and an automaton;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>a booster<\/strong>, 5 bar pressure;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>connection hoses<\/strong>;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">and <strong>a 90m3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product\/flexible-storage-tanks\/flexible-drinking-water-tanks\/\">drinking water bladder<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;12035&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;12030&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The water treatment and ultrafiltration unit is connected to <strong>the city&#8217;s water network<\/strong>. Once chlorinated and filtered, the mobile station sends the treated water to the drinking water tank. It will stay there until the chlorine level is adjusted. In addition, <strong>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pasteur.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pasteur Institute<\/a> tests the treated water every week to validate its compliance<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\"> Then, the booster connected to the flexible tank distributes drinking water either to the ships or to the life base. Thus, workers working on land or in the open sea receive consumable water throughout the worksite.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #00a7e1;\">Mobile water purification unit<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]<span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;\">The mobile water treatment unit incorporates a <strong>succession of filtrations<\/strong>. Their core technology is <strong>0.01-micron ultrafiltration<\/strong>.
