Indeed, working on various projects or as a subcontractor, this company is required to set up kilometers of network per day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To achieve these pipe distances, it connects sections together by coupling. It&#8217;s to this connection between two pipes, that a leak can appear. These leaks can cause:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>significant losses of fluid for their customers,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>lost of time for future work and maintenance on the network,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>also losses of money for obvious causes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;12177&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The causes of leaks are diverse, not to mention apart from the natural deterioration of the pipes. This is why it was imperative for Fibertech <strong>to make a pipe coupling test leak test directly during assembly<\/strong>. This tool allowed that the hose connection does not show any leaks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To do this, the company fabricated a <strong>metal mechanism with rollers<\/strong> to move the equipment inside the pipe. Indeed it was missing a tool to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>adapt to the manufactured metal structure<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">adhere to the fiberglass <strong>without damaging it<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">withstand a pressure of <strong>12 bar<\/strong>,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">and to be <strong>tailor-made<\/strong> to the dimensions of the 2 types of pipes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">Pipe coupling test to check the connection with pneumatic cylinder<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pipe manufacturing company turned to Pronal for the supply of an <strong>inflatable flexible tube or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product\/lifting-bags\/inflatable-annular-seals\/\">toric cylinder<\/a><\/strong>. Equipped with 2 air chambers, this cylinder inflates on either side of the coupling. It placed against the wall, <strong>the jack completely isolates this<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Air pressure will spread in the middle of it, between the two pipes and the fitting. This pressure is pushed to + 5 bar. Once the pipe pressure test has been carried out, the cylinder will give an indication of the tightness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So there are two scenarios:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>If a drop in pressure is recorded, there is a leak<\/strong>. It will then be necessary to modify the installation of the connection between the two sections.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If there is no pressure loss, the hose coupling is assembled correctly. Coupling test tooling can be moved quickly and network installation can resume.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;12185&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;12190&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The inflatable tube has been designed to withstand 12 bar of pressure. <strong>Our engineering office has studied it so that it doesn&#8217;t damage the fiberglass in the pipes<\/strong>. Also, the product exists in two versions for the different diameters of existing pipes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore this inflatable solution has been studied to be:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>simple and quick to use: air inflation via a compressor;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>easy to move due to its lightness;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>abrasion resistant;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>adapted to its structure;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong>and reusable!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #00a7e1;\">Conclusion of this coupling test tool<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Israeli company has been in communication with our design office throughout the making of this product. Our engineers understood Fibertech&#8217;s expectations by creating <strong>the ideal and tailor-made tool for this project<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The advantage of having coupling test equipment has given Fibertech the ability to verify the quality of pipe leaks upon installation.
