{"id":13389,"date":"2021-07-13T11:30:49","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T09:30:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/?post_type=projets&#038;p=13389"},"modified":"2021-12-16T09:57:04","modified_gmt":"2021-12-16T08:57:04","slug":"refloat-a-boat-with-inflatable-lifting-systems","status":"publish","type":"projets","link":"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/projects\/refloat-a-boat-with-inflatable-lifting-systems\/","title":{"rendered":"Refloat a boat with inflatable lifting systems"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">Dismantling of the Emile Allard <\/span><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><b class=\"b1\">n<\/b><b class=\"b2\">avai<\/b><b class=\"b3\">d vessel<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]In the north of France, at the port of Dunkirk, the RB Diag company planned <strong>to dismantle the Emile Allard navaid vessel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"2\">Built in <strong>1949<\/strong>, the ship had many weaknesses, particularly in terms of the hull in very poor condition.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"3\">After analysis and diagnosis, the company first decided to strengthen certain parts of the ship.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"4\">But despite this intervention, the whole was still very fragile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"6\">Limited in time and in the budget, it was not possible to hire a beaching basin and a demolition dock.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"7\">Therefore, afloat dismantling was the most suitable solution for this project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"9\">To ensure the dehaling and deconstruction of the boat afloat, RB Diag was looking for <strong>a maintenance<\/strong> and <strong>flotation solution<\/strong>.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"10\">The solution had to be:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"12\">flexible so as not to damage the shell which is already in poor condition,<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"14\">and strapped around the perimeter of the vessel for perfect stability<\/span><\/span> <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;13359&#8243; img_size=&#8221;400&#215;550&#8243; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;top-to-bottom&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">The Pronal solution to refloat a boat<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Therefore, the company RB Diag called on Pronal to provide an inflatable solution and <strong>secure the vessel&#8217;s buoyancy<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">We have provided:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\"><strong>18 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product\/lifting-units\/rdf-lifting-units\/\">RDF lifting units<\/a><\/strong> (or buoyancy reserve) with a capacity of 10,000 L,<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"2\">and <strong>4 RDF<\/strong> of 32,000 L.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">The inflatable systems dedicated here to refloat a boat have been strapped all around the hull.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"1\">Once inflated and properly hooked, they were able to tow the vessel safely to the dock.<\/span> <span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"2\">Without this essential and rapid device to be implemented everywhere, there would have been a great possibility of damage.<\/span><\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;13344&#8243;
