THE NEEDS OF THE CITY\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

In the spring of 2021, G\u00e9rard Olive, the person in charge of the city’s green spaces, had the idea to call on us for the installation of this flexible tank.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Indeed, before this tank, the gardeners were watering the green spaces with water from the ILEO network. This is a company dedicated to the management of drinking water distribution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For watering, they need 3 tons of 1,000 liters. This solution was neither ecological nor economical.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

G\u00e9rard Olive decided to find an alternative. Thanks to him, the city of Loos has become the forerunner in the way of watering beds and trees.\u00a0<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

OUR RAIN WATER STORAGE TANK\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]To meet the needs of watering, we have made for this city a rain water storage tank of 100 000 liters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This tank recovers rainwater, which was previously discharged into the public sewerage system. For this to work, the tank is connected to a pump, itself connected to the gutter downspouts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thus, the rainwater goes directly into the tank.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This product is accessorized with an overflow: in case there is too much water in it, a hose coming from the overflow will allow the evacuation of the liquid.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Once the rainwater has passed through thetank, it can be reused. Indeed, it is sufficient to place a hose in the spigot. This hose will be connected to a pump installed right next to the cistern.\u00a0 From there, gardeners can connect their supply and continue the watering process.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”18258″ img_size=”large”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

HOW DOES THE CITY OF LOOS REUSE WATER?\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

The city of Loos has decided to reuse this water in different ways.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

First of all, most of it is used to water the city’s technical services with pumps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
