It ensures the <strong>safe storage of the biogas<\/strong> generated during scientific experiments <strong>before its controlled combustion<\/strong>, <strong>preventing its release into the atmosphere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"725\" data-end=\"878\">This achievement is part of ongoing work on the <strong>energy recovery of biomass<\/strong>, carried out in connection with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.interregnorthsea.eu\/closecycle\">Closecycle Interreg North Sea project<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;fadeInRight&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;fadeInLeft&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1364\" data-end=\"1407\"><strong data-start=\"132\" data-end=\"163\">A custom and durable design<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"165\" data-end=\"344\">Entirely<strong> manufactured in France<\/strong> at Pronal\u2019s workshops, the 2 m\u00b3 gas holder has been <strong>custom-designed<\/strong> to integrate seamlessly into the experimental installations of the <strong>OPAALE unit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"346\" data-end=\"504\">Its <strong>reinforced elastomer membrane<\/strong>, featuring a <strong>specific internal coating<\/strong>, <strong>ensures complete airtightness<\/strong>, <strong>high chemical resistance<\/strong>, and <strong>outstanding durability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"658\">The equipment is fitted with a <strong>gas<\/strong> <strong>inlet and outlet<\/strong>, a <strong>safety valve<\/strong>, and a <strong>bottom drain<\/strong> for water removal, <strong>ensuring safe and stable operation over time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"818\">Compact and lightweight, it can be installed both <strong>indoors and outdoors, <\/strong>on a <strong>research platform<\/strong> or inside a <strong>container, <\/strong>without the need for heavy infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;18px&#8221;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;35334&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;fadeInLeft&#8221;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;35339&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;fadeInLeft&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2207\"><strong data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2207\">An efficient solution for biogas research<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"145\" data-end=\"407\">The gas holder designed for the <strong>OPAALE unit<\/strong> plays an important role in<strong> biogas management<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"234\" data-end=\"237\" \/>Thanks to its flexible design and high-quality materials, it enhances the <strong>safety of installations<\/strong> while helping to <strong>reduce the environmental impact<\/strong> <strong>of experimental work.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"522\">Indeed, it enables the <strong>storage and controlled combustion<\/strong> <strong>of biogas instead of releasing it into the atmosphere.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"660\">This project demonstrates <strong>Pronal\u2019s ability to adapt its industrial expertise to meet the needs of scientific and environmental research.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css_animation=&#8221;fadeInUp&#8221;][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2993\" data-end=\"3047\"><strong data-start=\"87\" data-end=\"134\">Technical features of the Pronal gas holder<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"136\" data-end=\"311\">The Pronal gas holder is based on an <strong>independent external storage technology<\/strong>, suitable for various types of gases such as<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/areas\/offshore-en\/\"><strong> biogas, methane, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, or syngas.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"442\">Its<strong> flexible NPVC or NBR elastomer membrane ensures perfect impermeability and resistance to pressure and temperature variations.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"805\">The gas holder can be customized according to specific requirements.
