In 2001<\/strong>, the municipality called on Pronal<\/strong><\/a> to install a flexible tank dedicated to the storage of sewage sludge<\/strong>. The project was based on a capacity of 200 m\u00b3<\/strong>, incorporating a mixer to ensure effective homogenization of the sludge.<\/strong> This solution guarantees perfect tightness<\/strong> as well as resistance suited to the nature of the stored effluent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A reliable installation for over 20 years<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Over the years, the flexible tank<\/strong><\/a> has demonstrated its full reliability in what is nevertheless a demanding environment. For more than 22 years<\/strong>, it has maintained its performance, highlighting the quality of the technical fabrics used by Pronal<\/strong>, designed to withstand the chemical and mechanical stresses of sewage sludge<\/strong>. This longevity confirms the relevance of the initial choice and the ability of Pronal solutions to stand the test of time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2023<\/strong>, the municipality of Saint-\u00c9tienne-de-Cuines<\/strong><\/a> once again called on Pronal to upgrade its installation. As requirements had changed, it was no longer necessary to maintain a volume of 200 m\u00b3.<\/strong> After analysis, a reduction in capacity proved to be the most suitable solution to optimize operations.<\/p>\n

A new optimized and adapted flexible tank<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The choice then turned to a 150 m\u00b3 flexible tank<\/strong><\/a>, better sized to meet the current needs of the local authority. One of the key aspects of the project lies in the reuse of the mixer installed in 2001<\/strong>. Still in perfect working condition, this equipment was retained and integrated into the new flexible tank<\/strong>, thereby reducing costs and making the most of existing, still high-performing equipment.<\/p>\n

The installation of this new flexible tank was carried out as a continuation of the previous setup, without requiring major civil engineering work<\/strong>. Thanks to the flexibility of Pronal<\/strong> solutions, it is possible to precisely adapt volumes and technical characteristics to site constraints, while ensuring excellent resistance to sewage sludge<\/strong> and simplified operation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
