Its concrete pit was indeed becoming too small further to the increase of its cattle. Moreover, long-term storage with this system was not possible any longer after standards alignment.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the new appropriate storage solution should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><strong>include total capacity storage of 1200 m3,<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><strong>include inlet\/outlet located under the tank, so as to keep pipes and hoses underground.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9073&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;top-to-bottom&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>The solution: the flexible tank for agricultural effluent storage<\/h3>\n<p>Together <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cal-lorraine.fr\/\">with its partner CAL<\/a> (The Lorraine Agricultural Cooperative)<\/strong><\/span>, Pronal supplied a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product\/flexible-storage-tanks\/flexible-effluent-tanks\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1; text-decoration: underline;\">flexible tank for agricultural effluent storage<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a>. This <strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">1200m3<\/span><\/strong> tank is made out of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>high strength fabric coated with PVC suitable for effluent storage, assembled by high-frequency welding,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>one inlet <\/strong>and<strong> one outlet located <\/strong>under the tank<strong>,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>one overflow,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>six vents,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>and<strong> 4 reinforcement corner plates.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Liquid effluents are stored in the flexible tank after treatment with a phase separator. This large capacity enables<strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"> long-term storage of effluents before the application period<\/span><\/strong>. Then, the farmer will empty the tank with a foot pump. He will then spread his fertilizer without leaving his tractor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advantages of this solution of agricultural effluents storage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><strong>strong reduction of odors,<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">a genuinely usable volume<\/span><\/strong> (no rainwater),<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><strong>a high fertilizer quality<\/strong><\/span> (application of fertilizer and not water),<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><strong>time saving<\/strong><\/span> thanks <strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">to quick installation,<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>and <strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">unbeatable value for money<\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9063&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;top-to-bottom&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9068&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;bottom-to-top&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;left-to-right&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>In conclusion, <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"><strong>the Pronal flexible tank<\/strong><\/span> met all expectations. Thanks to the size of this storage unit, the farmer will be able to forecast a cattle increase or a new standard alignment. This solution is a <strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">low-cost investment<\/span><\/strong> and <strong><span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">is money-saving<\/span><\/strong> compared to a concrete pit or manure pit. Moreover, new regulations request the pit to be covered to limit odors. On top of all this, rainwater can fall in the pit and potentially dilute the fertilizer stored.
