Oil in such a system has <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">to keep clean so as not to damage components<\/span>. Oil volume varies inside the tank during use. When volume is lower, air from outside fills in the oil gap. But cranes usually operate in dusty sites. The air coming inside the tank is therefore polluted. This may <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">alter on a short or medium-term the oil quality<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">thus carry out more frequent maintenance operations<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Our customer was, therefore, looking for a system<span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"> to protect oil inside the tank<\/span>. The ideal solution for this has then:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to be custom-made so as to be installed in the oil tank,<\/li>\n<li>require few maintenance operations so as not to stop production,<\/li>\n<li>prevent any oil contact with outside air.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That is why this manufacturer applied to Pronal to design an <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">hydraulic breather<\/span>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;9441&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; css_animation=&#8221;top-to-bottom&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css_animation=&#8221;right-to-left&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3>Pronal solution: the flexible compensator EXP for the crane hydraulic system<\/h3>\n<p>After analyzing customer&#8217;s needs and specifications, Pronal proposed an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pronal.com\/en\/product\/compensators\/exp-inflatable-separators\/\">EXP compensator<\/a>. This hydraulic compensator was <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">custom-made<\/span>, with the following characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>size: 490&#215;240 mm,<\/li>\n<li>a stainless steel insert,<\/li>\n<li>a center-placed stem for air-inflation,<\/li>\n<li>nitrile material suitable for this kind of oil,<\/li>\n<li>and a filter for incoming air.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This hydraulic system is installed inside the tank. Acting as <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">a genuine hydraulic breather<\/span>, it inflates and deflates<span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\"> according to oil volume variations<\/span>. The compensator inflates when the oil volume is getting lower. The air cannot, therefore, get in contact with the liquid. The oil is thus <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">protected<\/span> and <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">keeps its properties<\/span>. The compensator material is <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">adapted to oil type<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">working temperature<\/span>, etc.<\/p>\n<p>This flexible solution for compensation is <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">an alternative to the vacuum breaker<\/span>. Opposite to the inflatable compensator, the oil breaker filters and let the outside air come in. Air keeps in contact with hydraulic oil and then alters its properties. Thanks to this time-saving, <span style=\"color: #00a7e1;\">downtimes have been reduced and money has been saved<\/span>.
