In 2022, PRONAL decided to launch its CSR strategy.
The company’s two leaders made this decision for two reasons.
Firstly, to anticipate social, societal, and environmental changes.
PRONAL wants to continue providing lifting/storage/sealing and protection solutions in an eco-responsible world.
Additionally, our CEO explains that he wants to involve all of our teams in this challenge.
To help us start off in the best possible way with this ambitious strategy, we have been receiving continuous support from the Ititoca agency since the beginning of our initiative.
Three main CSR axes have been defined for PRONAL:
- PLANET PRONAL : Ecology and Societal Responsibility
- PRONAL TOGETHER : Well-Being at Work
- PRONAL TOMORROW : Adaptation and Innovation
PLANET PRONAL
Objective: Make PRONAL an ecological and societal reference in the elastomer industry.
To achieve this, several projects are being implemented:
- Save water by implementing a water recovery system, especially for water testing conducted on our products.
- Reduce our energy footprint and implement a low-carbon strategy: replace lighting with LED, install solar panels at the Portuguese site.
- Reduce and valorize our waste, such as our scraps, for example.
PRONAL TOGETHER
Objective: Rejuvenate employees’ energy by cultivating their vitality lever.
We have several projects to prioritize well-being at the core of PRONAL:
- Engage our employees in solidarity events.
- Promote access to sports for our employees.
- Improve workplace conditions through facility upgrades.
- Implement a mentoring program for the integration of new Pronalians.
PRONAL TOMORROW
Objective: Adapt to the future world where oil is not unlimited! Seize new opportunities related to evolving needs in this constantly changing world.
To support PRONAL in this eco-responsible world, we will:
- Enter new markets, such as renewable energies.
- Find new environmentally friendly materials.
- Share our CSR values with our suppliers.
Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Through these three axes, Pronal strongly commits to the UN’s SDGs, particularly in terms of health, reducing inequalities, and promoting responsible consumption and production.
This report bears witness to Pronal’s strong commitment to sustainable development and its willingness to actively contribute to combating environmental and social challenges.
It marks the beginning of a new era for Pronal, where social and environmental responsibility is at the heart of its strategic decisions.
