Emergency pipe plug diameter greater than 1000mm - OFR
The OFR is an inflatable emergency pipe plug with a diameter greater than 1000 mm. It has been specially designed to plug pipes with large diameters. The diameter of the pipe defines the inflation pressure. It is dedicated to the reliable and permanent sealing of pipes.
In the event of a disaster, the emergency pipe plug inflates and acts as a valve that retains the polluting products. Once confined, these liquids are pumped or diverted to a retention basin. The sealing balloon thus stops the propagation of chemical products or fire water, eliminating any risk of pollution.
It is triggered quickly and effectively by an inflation system that is operated remotely. This system makes the OFR anti-pollution plug a must-have product for working in complete safety.
In addition, its installation does not require civil engineering.
To conclude, these anti-pollution inflatable plugs are a complement to the OPAP plugs dedicated to diameters below 1000mm.
